Idea Montagna “Dalle ciaspole al telemark – Alpi Carniche Orientali” (“From snowshoes to telemark skiing – Eastern Carnic Alps”) is a guidebook of winter hiking routes that takes into account winter hiking with snowshoes, telemark or cross-country skis or, more simply, on foot in hitherto little-visited areas.

These are the areas in the Eastern Carnic Alps covered by the 66 magnificent itineraries:
Fleons, Coglians-Chianevate, Mooskofel, Cròstis, Arvènis, Creta di Timau, Creta d’Aip and Monte Cavallo, Monte Zermula, Dorsale Gartnerkofel-Poludnig-Osternig.

There are also many hikes in Austrian territory, little-known areas but with great Alpine charm.
