Patagonia Men’s Torrentshell Jacket is a fantastic super-compressible men’s hardshell shell. You can in fact enclose inside one of its pockets and place it comfortably inside the backpack. That’s why Torrentshell is always useful to have it with you!
The fabric has been renewed and now they are 3 layers of H2No Performance Standard, a particular Nylon ripstop that makes it completely waterproof and breathable. Another innovation is that this Nylon is 100% recycled!
The hood is adjustable in two points, has a visor, is foldable and is also compatible with the climbing helmet.
The collar is covered in microfleece to increase comfort and protection.
The hinges are all taped and treated with the DWR so as to also make these raincoats, even the openings under the armpits.
The cuffs can be tightened by velcro and the jacket bottoms by drawstring.
