The Yeti Tundra 45l is a convenient icebox with a multi-purpose volume. It can hold overnight camp provisions for 4 people or drinks for a day at sea. Our Tundra 45 icebox combines versatility and durability. This high-quality icebox offers legendary YETI durability, thanks to its robust, rotomoulded construction and up to 6.7 cm of PermaFrost insulation. This means it is built to last and will keep its contents frozen even in extreme heat, or keep camping food warm despite icy winds. To optimize the duration of temperatures, it is advisable to use YETI ice packs in combination with regular ice that can be purchased at the supermarket. The ratio should be at least 1/3 of the cooler’s capacity filled with ice; to avoid temperature fluctuations when opening and closing the cooler, it is recommended to use a towel to fill any empty space (if it is not completely full). Based on personal experience, if these guidelines are followed, the minimum duration is 3 days.
